Calleigh's First Photo Shoot
KariAnne came over last week and Calleigh had her first photo shoot and she was absolutely perfect! You can see from the results. I know it is a little bit conceited to say but I really think I have the most beautiful little girl in the world! I absolutely love the picture of Ben kissing her. This was not a pose. KariAnne just caught Daddy coming home from work :) Thanks again Auntie KariAnne!

Easter and Updated Pics
It finally seems like things are settling down again. Calleigh's Acid Reflux seems to be under control and she has pretty much got her sleeping schedule down. At her last doctors appointment (last Tuesday) she weighed 9 lbs, 11 oz and was 23 inches long. She is growing so big and so is her personality. She has started scooting a bit when she is on her tummy and she loves to play and talk. We are having so much fun with her!
This is Calleigh's first Easter of course. So I got her a little basket with a stuffed toy and some rattles. No candy for her yet :( My mom always hid our Easter Baskets and when we woke up in the morning we had to find them. Well I guess the Easter Bunny hid them. I plan on doing the same with Calleigh. I always get the pups an Easter gift to and this morning was no different. Except I picked the squeakiest toys ever. By 8:00 am Ben had taken the toys away and hid them. We went for a hike out at State Patrol and finished the day by having dinner at Grammy Di and Poppa Dave's house. It was a great first Easter!

Top Surprises of Motherhood
I was reading this article on a baby website I frequent about the surprises of motherhood. I would see these articles while I was pregnant and say "nope not me" HA HA HA. How things change once you have the little one wiggling in your arms while you try try try to straighten your hair and make the bed at the same time. Ok so maybe that was an exaggeration but that is what it feels like! But the point of the article rang true to me. I look different, I have no idea where my time goes, I am overwhelmed by love, I hate being a parent sometimes, my friendships have changed, and my relationship with my husband has changed but...I am stronger than I ever imagined. I use to bitch when I was woken up at 2 am from the neighbors. Now I can push through the day with minimal sleep. Any one who knows me knows I have a weak stomach. Cares can tell you about snot and licorice LOL! Now changing extremely poopy diapers and plunging snotty noises has no effect one me. I wear clothes with spit up on them and I smell like breast milk but my husband still thinks I am beautiful and makes sure to tell me so. I can do my makeup while putting baby girl down for her morning snooze. I can ease the pain of another being even when their cry is making my heart break. I am capable of so much more than I ever thought. Crazy how much your life can change in just 2 months!
