Calleigh's First Christmas

We had a Great 1st Christmas with Calleigh! It was busy and full of fun but we all enjoyed it. Secretly I am glad it is over :) Calleigh was a trooper through the whole thing. Next year she will know more about Christmas.

Calleigh will turn 11 months old on January 1st. She is so full of life and all grown up it seems! She picks up things so quick. She now says "up" when she wants to be picked up obviously. She also says "all done" and MOM! I capitalize it because she only says it from the other room yelling at me. MOM MOM MOM. As much as I know I need to stop it...it is hard not to love it. Payback right Mama? Calleigh is an official walker. Well I am not sure what makes you an official walker but she will let go and stand and then take 5 or so steps. The funny thing is she laughs the entire time. She is so impressed with herself and so are we! Her and Ben like to play tackle as you can see in one of the pictures below and she is no sissy girl either. Pappa Dave says the same thing. She is a girl but she is not girly! Her 2 top front teeth have broken through and a 3rd bottom tooth is almost here. She has been a little grouchy but not too bad.

Ben and I have been busy at work and home. We are getting ready to install a dishwasher (yes I have gone 3 years without one) and next week I am getting my wisdom teeth pulled finally. Scooby and Phoebe are hating the cold weather especially when it snows. We are excited for the new year and everything that comes with it!

Happy New Year everyone!

Santa

As you can see Calleigh was not impressed with Santa. We will not be using this for our Christmas card but I still wanted everyone to see it. She looked so cute all dressed up! Maybe next year she will understand who the man in red is :)

Merry Christmas!
